Dr. Debabrata Mukherjee
Dr. Debabrata Mukherjee received his PhD degree from Iowa State University/USA in 2013 with Prof. Aaron D. Sadow on zinc and magnesium organometallics. After a short postdoctoral stay at Argonne National Laboratory/USA, he moved to RWTH Aachen University/Germany in 2015 with Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship to work on metal hydrides with Dr. Prof. Jun Okuda. Returning to India in 2018, Dr. Mukherjee started his academic career at IIT Kharagpur before moving to IISER Kolkata where he is currently an Assistant Professor in Department of Chemical Sciences. His research interests lies on synthetic organometallics, especially of the main group elements and the 1st row transition metals, in the context of homogeneous catalysis.
